We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Wakanda Gallery. Each piece is authentic, handmade in Ethiopia, and carefully inspected before shipping. If you're not satisfied, we're here to help.
Return Window
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they meet our return conditions below.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- In their original, unused condition
- In original packaging (if applicable)
- Free from damage, alterations, or signs of use
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Please note: Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in color, grain, texture, and finish are natural characteristics and not considered defects. These variations reflect the artisan's individual craftsmanship and the authentic nature of handmade items.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Items marked as final sale
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Photos (if the item arrived damaged or defective)
We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if your request is approved.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong item. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please note that depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please contact us. We'll help facilitate the exchange based on current availability.
Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect and package every item before shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Photos of the damage
- Photos of the packaging
- Your order number
We will work with you to resolve the issue through a replacement, refund, or store credit—whichever you prefer.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery by the carrier. We recommend tracking your shipment and arranging for secure delivery or signature confirmation if needed.
